After being inspired by my high school Spanish teacher, I decided to pursue a career in foreign language education. I received my bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Linfield College, a master's degree in Spanish Linguistics from Middlebury College and post-graduate studies at Cornell University and Northwest Nazarene University. My passion for the Spanish language and its many cultures led to several years of study and teaching in the cities of Granada and Madrid, Spain. As a Spanish teacher, I believe in demonstrating to students that the real excitement in language learning is to make connections with people within our own community and beyond. I also enjoy promoting the use of virtual reality and 3D modeling in Education with Blocksmith, the Idaho Virtual Reality Council and PCS Edventures!
