Research and practice.  The TPRS method has proven effective in a variety of school contexts.  Dr. Richard Baker coordinates an English Language Development program for grades 5-12, working with teachers who have English Language Learners in their classrooms, where teachers must address both their academic course learning needs and provide conditions for English language acquisition to occur in the classroom. Come listen and share your own experiences using TPRS to teach language and content.
